Potted shrimp with multi grain bread

Another potted food,this time using little shrimps.

I love way to eat bread with savory stuff!Also I love shrimp dishes,but I never set eyes on such shrimp foods so far. I wonder what kind of flavor this has...No doubt this attracts me with a tasty looks😍Your pics makes me try to make,I dig for suitable recipe tmr! Good,good!! I like

So glad you like this,I was really hoping you do.I have been seeing this in books about British food for awhile,and I love potted food with bread,so I guess I should try a seafood one.Originally they use brown shrimps,they are tiny and cooked straight after caught,then freeze right away.I don't have that,but just this season we have similar small shrimp,but they come in fresh still jumping,also sweet and delicious,so I tried with them,it turned out real good!This one is mainly mixed with butter and spices,one of them is quite rare in other food,called 'mace',I bought it last time for pork pie,it works with seafood too.If you want to try and couldn't find in Japan,I will bring some over,just let me know.Thanks for the compliment on bread,just suddenly craved for multi grains,using a soaker was new to me,but actually not too complicated...I am always expecting your bread too!

Thank you for offering,I love your kindly heart! It's alright,I've mace (powdered).however I rarely use this spice besides curry making.

That's good,you have mace powder already,mine is mace 'blade',that's what I could only get here.It's alright,no need to apologize for not leaving message.I was happy with pea risotto too,slightly bitter charred cuttlefish really accentuate the sweetness of pea,please try!
