Thank you Makiko and Hironobu,not only coming to HK and visit me,also brought me all kinds of wonderful gifts!For this time I made a yaki udon(not the Ise one yet,will work on that next time),with this long type ひじき,which I think should go well with some kind of noodle! Love the Japanese chocolate and sweet things so much,perfect things to go with my Japanese tea,my essential for cold winter night!

I love combining different things from the sea,they always go together well,I had no doubt oysters work well with some kind of seaweed! I initially thought it was the short type hijiki that you gave me,I had plan to do a fry rice,but I found out it was actually the long ones,so I did a fry noodle instead! These are really special hijiki,amazing quality from your area,I am glad to have it,I discovered something new,there are endless treasures from the Japanese seas!I will definitely try a few more dishes with it! 日本でも、国産のひじきは手に入りにくくなってます。韓国産の安いものが多くて。伊勢湾のひじきは品質がとても良いので、炒めても煮物にしても美味しいと思うよ!
