Beetroot hummus with rye crackers

My friend loves anything that made from chickpeas💕. How did you season this? Just added beetroot to standard hummus?

Yes! I blended roasted beetroot with the chickpeas, together with tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, salt & pepper for this hummus

I don't know the difference between tahini and 練りごま.

I think it's the same - basically sesame seeds grounded to a paste. Just different countries name it differently I think
Thanks!! Chinese mainly use black sesame paste for sweets, aren't they? And the difference of 中華 sweetened bean paste and 日本's is sesame oil. 😉
