This not Palm Sugar

Hey, here is some tip for those who love cooking with palm sugar? I melted with water and let it dried. Resulted the whole piece of this size it contain about one teaspoon of sugar and it is granulate white sugar. The taste is not there and the texture is not it. scary part is we don't know what sort chemical they used to make he cube look so wide and firm like rock. I ran out of Palm sugar and tried this out.
