Clean up apples from seeds and cut into cubes, sprinkle with lemon juice. Add pickled herring to the apples. Slice onion thinly and add to herring.

Dress with sour cream, mustard, salt and pepper to taste, mix - and all the dish is ready.

Pickled (marinated) herrings: Herrings (2fishes) clean from the skin and belly, take out the bones. Cut into slices and put on the bottom of flat plastic container. Sprinkle with finely chopped dill or coriander and coarse black pepper. For marinade mix a cup of boiled cold water, 100 ml olive oil, 50 ml vinegar, 1 tsp salt and 2 tsp mustard(better in seeds) and 2 tsp sugar. Pour marinade into container with sliced herrings, close well and put into refrigerator. In 2 days herring is ready and so delicious.
