Beef Broth Fondue

材料・調味料 (4 人分)
Water
3 Cups
Beef Broth
2 Cans
Beef Boullion
3 tablespoons
Baby Portobello Mushrooms
2 cups
Chives
2
Celery
1 sprig
New Red Potatoes
4 - 5
Bok Choi
1 green, separated into greens & whites
Broccoli
2 heads, trimmed to flouretts
Carrots

Red Cooking Wine
1 cup
Top Sirloin Steak

作り方

Start by bringing the Beef Broth to a preboil. Mix Beef Bouillon with hot water, and add to beef broth.

Slice Bacon into small pieces and brown in a skillet. Drain a majority of the fat and add Cooked Bacon to Beef Broth, retaining the fat.

Slice the Bok Choi greens thinly, at an angel. Add to the Beef Broth.

Slice the Bok Choi whites into thin slices and sauté in Bacon Grease. Once tender-crisp, add to Beef Broth.

Take one of the Baby Portobello Mushrooms, and slice super thin and add to Beef Broth.

Add Red Cooking Wine to Beef Broth.

Slice half the sprig of Celery thinly, at an angel, and add to Beef Broth.

Allow the Beef Broth soup to simmer on low heat until all the prep is completed, anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half. If the broth reduces, just add extra hot water.

Now to cut up the veggies & meat!
Slice up remaining Baby Portobello Mushrooms, peel & slice Carrots, cut Potatos, and Top Sirloin Steak into manageable, bite size pieces.

When ready to eat, pour your Beef Broth mixture into your fondue pot. Allow guests to select their pieces and cook in Beef Broth.

Do not underestimate how long the chopping and slicing takes. It’s a long time.
Also, add a coupe dipping sauces. I made one out of Miracle Whip, Mustard, Garlic Salt, and a clove of Garlic. The other is Soy Sauce, Maggie Seasoning Sauce, and Worcestershire Sauce mixed with both Black and White Ground Pepper.
I also save the soup for after everyone else is gone, and have a wonderful soup with everything that fell off the forks.

One of my personal favorites. I couldn’t find a recipe I liked online, so this is my own variation.
This is also my first posted recipe, so please let me know if you like!
I just realized that I forgot the spices!
Ground White Pepper
Thyme
Sprinkle of ground Cloves
Ground Black Pepper

All to taste in the Beef Broth. Add after cooked Bacon.
