To: rikk Hi Rick.. It's deep-fried Sweet chicken that is popularly served in North American Chinese restaurants. The dish was unknown in China and other lands home to the Chinese diaspora before it was introduced by chefs returning from the United States.
To: rikk The ingredients are so simple... Sauce: soy sauce, rice wine, rice wine vinegar, sugar, cornstarch, dried red chili peppers (whole), garlic, MSG. Batter/breading: egg, cornstarch. I'm sure you make this.. Maybe with a different name :)
I see,I really haven't seen this in Hong Kong, but you are right, probably in another name.I'll do a little research and try find out what exactly it is.I have to skip the MSG though,I'm super allergic to it,that why I rarely to to restaurant these days, you are ok with it?Thank you!
To: rikk Honestly, I skip the MSG cause I don't know what it is! lol!! I saw it in the store but I was just like, "I'm not buying that! I can just use garlic powder" lol!
To: Trivia36 Mainly Asian chefs use this, and home cook really shouldn't ,especially there are so many ways to cook and natural flavouring that make your food taste better,so skip it,great cook like you don't need that!!

Lol!!
That's why you're my teacher!
Wow! My gut feeling told me to just use garlic and a tiny ginger powder. I'm glad I did :)
So.. What does MSG do to you?
Do you become I'll from it?
Dizzy!?!
Wow! That's scary!
I'll skip that! It sounds like drugs
