I had some leftover pine nuts from the pesto I made for the pasta,so I thought I could add some in the mix to make it more special,you see I try not to post uninspiring dishes here too much...And I was very happy with it,it tasted so delicious that I couldn't stop eating!
Please try this when you see good hamaguri,the Japanese ones are top quality!
I poached the clams first til they open,put the breadcrumb mix on and bake in very hot oven,I was lucky that I got the timing right,the clams were very juicy!
You are right,this is perfect with white wine!I don't dislike wine,but for me, I find food tastes better with sparkling water😁.
