Thai boat noodle

I miss this street food so much,this combo box is really the next best thing when I couldn't be in Thailand,thanks to my very kind colleague bringing this back from
her trip.Complete with some vermicelli and a concentrated soup base,which is very authentic,all I needed to do was adding some toppings,I had pork meatballs,fish cake,mince pork,bean sprouts and herbs.
Why is it called boat noodle,that I don't know...originally sold on the boat...?
