I was always interested in this and finally had this in Venice,first bite and I realized it's very similar with Japanese nanban tsuke,pretty amazing!The use of nuts and raisin are very characteristically Italian,they really make a good balance.I love all kind of 常備菜,glad to learn another famous dish!
