A well-known Jiangzhe province 江浙地帶 snack dish made by Mom 😄 Super yummy!
I've seen this many times but never tried before,love 糯米and lotus root,but always wonder whether this is an appertizer or a dessert.These look so good,your mom really is amazing!

It should be considered as an appetizer/snack. Sometimes when the holes in the root are too small, it gets harder to push the rice all the way down, and the rice would also came out of holes during cooking. so stuff rice is the tricky part and takes time, the rest is easy.
To: MangoPudding ,thank you for the tips,I have a recipe for this,seems like a tedious job for me,as you probably remember that I'm hopeless in all the wrapping and stuffing, but will definitely have a go with it.
