Boil asparagus until you can prick them through with a fork. Strain and leave aside.

Chop garlic and place in a pan with 1tbs of butter. On medium heat, cook the garlic in the butter.

When garlic has browned, quickly add the strained asparagus as the butter will burn rapidly. If the butter is burnt, clean out the pan and start again.

Toss around in the butter sauce for a few seconds and serve.
