◾️Ingredients; For the caramel 50g granulated sugar 1 tbsp water 1 tbsp hot water
For the egg mixture 4 eggs 450ml milk 50g granulated sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the batter 70g cake flour 50g sugar 3 eggs 25g butter (melted)
◾️Method Make caramel and spread it evenly the bottom of a loaf pan, then refrigerate. Preheat the oven to 340°F Prepare a roasting pan or casserole dish. Pour egg mixture into a loaf pan, then you pour batter into the egg mixture. (Do Not Stir) Place the loaf pan in a roasting pan and pour boiling water into the roasting pan about halfway up the sides of the loaf pan. (a Bain Marie) Put your roasting pan in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes.
* Warm milk to 194°F and pour little by little into a egg bowl. * Be sure to strain the egg mixture with a strainer before pouring it into the loaf pan.
