It was very popular end of 2015, this year not so anymore. Now the trend is salted egg croissants, haha!

わー!Salted egg croissants!? I've never heard it. Salted egg yolks are used for it? I'll google it. In Japan, 塩パン became so popular and 塩パン seems to became standard.
I think it won't be long before salted egg croissant land in Japan!

Are salted egg yolk croissants like croissants with slightly salty runny custard which is made with more egg yolk inside?
They're originally from HK but seems to have got more fans in Singapore. Nice!

Yes, the filling is made with salted egg yolks. Too many places making this, I think the trend will die off soon. Yes the idea is originally from Urban Bakery in HK.
