Yes it's a vegetarian. The base is the usual Japanese condiments - dashi, sake, shoyu, mirin, and some brown sugar

Oh, I thought you used dried shiitake mushrooms or 昆布 dashi. But exactly!! Your condiments are enough to make good 煮物. I like it.
