Bread pudding

材料・調味料 (8 人分)
Milk
4 cups scalded
Butter
2 TBS
Eggs
4 large
Sugar
3/4 cup
Bread cubes
2 cups
Vanilla extract
1 tsp
Brown sugar
1/2 cup

Per heat oven to 350 degrees

Cut bread into cubes. Any bread will do. My favorite is French bread.

In a saucepan, heat milk, butter, and vanilla over med heat until milk looks foamy. Stirring occasionally to prevent burning. In another bowl, combine white sugar and eggs.

Combine ingredients and mix well. In an ungreased 9x13 casserole dish, place bread cubes. Pour wet mixture over cubes and mix gently.

Place in oven for 50 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with brown sugar and replace in oven and cook an additional 10 minutes.

Remove and let cool a bit before serving.
ポイント

You can always add ingredients like: pecans, walnuts, raisins, peaches, granola. Also you can serve plain or with a side of ice cream or whipped topping. Hope you enjoy!
