One plate of Japanese home style food and a celebration of the bountiful seaweed product from Japan, there are so many of them and it's impossible to feature all, hopefully I could do more in the future. *おぼろ昆布鮭生薑のおにぎり *ひじきの煮物 *あおさと豆腐の味噌汁 *菜の花の梅ごま塩昆布和え *半熟卵 Thanks Makiko and Hironobu,I would be happy to live near Ise coast so I could have all these wonderful produces in my daily meals,if not,I am just as happy to have some friends from Ise!
love this dish!! very simple but it's very close to Japanese traditional food style of '一汁三菜' . I'm not sure if there is 奈良漬 next to Onigiri?or guess it is 皮蛋...
Thank you Makiko! As I was looking at all the goodies you gave me,the idea of having everything on the same dish came up,so I thought of the best possible way to cook them and at the same time well balanced,I hope I did enough good.Recently when I browse the internet,I see many people are doing this type of washoku style plate meal,it must be trendy! Thanks again for the wonderful gifts,I am eating well because of them!
Thank you Rayceal San! Recently I see many people doing this type of washoku style plate meal, and when I was looking at all the goodies Makioko gave me,I thought of putting all of them on the same dish!I agree it's similar with 一汁三菜 style,Japanese always have well balanced meals and that's the way I would love to eat,I am especially fond of onigiri, and will do more of these in future! Well spotted,I left that out to see if anyone is interested,it's indeed すいか奈良漬,from my favorite shop 近為!
Thank you,it really does describe it !But it's not my invention,I am not good enough to play around Japanese words...Actually I always try to keep up with food trends from Japan, and I see many of these recently (books,magazines,internet)....
Yes,I see many of these around,it's healthy and delicious,I love this way of serving food,so uniquely Japanese! Oh thanks, plate is mail ordered from China, not expensive, good for everyday!
Around means around Tokyo? or Hong Kong? I think Chinese traditionally serve rice and delis on one plate. The name is economic rice or something? I thought the plate was 焼き物 from Japan. What a good buy!
Around means Internet, books, magazines in Japan.Hong Kong is amazingly slow catching on food trends. We have one dish lunch too,but not as many varieties on a plate. Glad to know you like the plate!
