Sponge Cake with Orange sauce

Vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 180 degree C. Grease a 9x9 inch pan and line with parchment paper.

In medium bowl, beat together eggs, milk, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and SP on high speed for 5-8 minutes to double its volume and become creamy.

On low speed, sift in cake flour and baking powder. Beat for 1 minute, then slowly add oil into mixture. Beat on medium speed for 5 minutes.

Pour the batter into prepared pan. Drop the pan on the counter top for few times. Bake for 25-30 minutes.

Let cake cool completely. Pour orange sauce on top. Let the cake sit in a refrigerator to set.
ポイント

Cake is done when it springs back to the touch. Or inserting a toothpick into the center of the cake comes out clean.
