Scrambled egg white with baby scallops,crispy ham,balsamic vinegar

Had too many egg white leftover from the custard I made last time.Thought of making a Chinese dish called 賽螃蟹,but turning it into an Italian dish,since the Italian has similar ingredients used in the original.
About 賽螃蟹,it's one of my favorite Chinese dish,though the name suggests crab,there's actu

actually no crab in this dish,there is an story about the origin of it,but I am not boring everyone here.

I recently knew that health conscious people ask the chef to make their omelette only with egg white at hotels morning buffet.
How cool! And decided I'll give it a try next time!🐣

Let me guess...well,The mountain people couldn't buy a crab in days of old,then They racked their brains to create similar with crab. Btw,as for me,I'll enjoy listening your talk even if you keep on prating whole day.If you got spare time,let me hear the story of 賽螃蟹😊

I heard too,many people eat just egg white for a healthier diet,I am not against it,but I can't do without egg yolk!Anyway please try this dish or better still,the Chinese dish 賽螃蟹！

Haha,you know it,you are too clever!Just slightly different.Imperial lady wanted to eat crab,but crabs were difficult to get those days,the cooks at palace thought of using fish and egg white to imitate crab,the Imperial lady loved it,

since then it became a classic...something like that..I told you it's going to be boring...😁

How do you call that Chinese dish you recommended? Is that so popular?

I managed to find that recipi and pic. According to that recipi, crab( 蟹肉) is used. Why?

賽螃蟹 is the name of the dish rather than the type of crab,I have no idea why it's call like this,no crab is used,but fish and egg to imitate crab,please refer to above comment.👆
