let's make cookie cup: in a bowl, mix butter, sugar, egg and vanilla extract until all comes together. in another bowl mix cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and flour and add in gradually into the egg mixture
2
when it all comes together as a dough, transfer to a working surface and knead for about 3 mins. divide it into 3 pieces and wrap in a plastic wrap. chill it in the fridge for about an hour
3
once the dough is chilled, remove from fridge. I'm using an oven proof mug. oil the mug with butter, and taking a bit of the dough at a time, just stick it inside of the mug. not too thick or it will not baked thru', not too thin or else it will collapse
4
preheat oven to 180 degrees, wack the mug into the oven and bake for about 20 mins. once done, remove and let it cool before handling it. once cooled, just pop the mug upside down, the cookie cup should come right out
5
melt dark chocolate over double boiler. once the dark chocolate has melted, spoon over the inside of the cookie cup. keep doing that until the inside of the cup is covered with the dark chocolate
6
in a blender, add in oreo, vanilla ice cream, milk and vanilla extract and bliz it up. pour over the cookie cup. top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. serve. voila! a perfect xmas afternoon with Oreo Milkshake!
I know this is sinful and not low fat... but hey, it's Xmas... Indulge yourself a bit!
Merry Xmas!!!
