marinate pork rib with 1 Tsp of soy sauce and 1/2 Tsp of sugar, and 1 egg yolk. set aside for 30 minutes

Heat 6 cups of oil in wok. Coat the ribs in corn flour, and deep fry with medium heat for 3 - 5 minutes till the rib is cooked through. Take the ribs out from the oil. Reheat the oil to very hot, then refry the ribs for 10 seconds to get a golden crispy layer.

With clean wok, boil the liquid ingredients together with corn starch till it is boiling and thickened. Throw in the ribs and sliced spring onions and stir till all ribs are coated with sauce. Scoop up and serve immediately.
