Mini scotch eggs

All minced meat dishes this week.
I grew up eating many scotch eggs in UK and they were ever so pleasing for some late night snacks.
But these are slightly different,using quail eggs,wrapped around with minced pork and bacon and deep fried,served with the most original ketchup and mayonnaise.
Easy-to-eat size and I love them with rice!

I ate a lot of scotch eggs while I lived in UK,those are made with sausage meat,that makes it extra tasty.I sometimes chop some bacon up to add in minced meat for that extra depth,that's my trick,I do it with bolognese sauce too!
This small size scotch egg is great for bento too,easy to eat and looks beautiful!

I meant ketchup is most original thing to go with scotch eggs.
I don't think ketchup is worth making at all,there are many ingredients,long time simmering and the bottled ones are cheap and delicious!Something's are better store bought than made from scratch,I am sure you agree!

Hi, rick. What a lovely Scotch egg! I've heard Scotch egg is made of haggis in Scotland. It sounded so interesting and I've been dreaming of the taste. How do you think?

I never had a proper haggis before,so it's hard to imagine how's a haggis scotch egg like,but I am sure this is a good idea!
And mine is not a proper scotch egg by all means,but it's good eaten with rice!
