Tulsa Coney I-Lander Chili Clone

Ground Beef
2 lbs
Beef Broth
1 Can / 10.5 oz
Tomato Sauce
1 Can / 15 oz
Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbls
Bay Leaf
1 Leaf
Unsweetened Chocolate
1 oz
Water
~ 10 oz
Salt
~ 1 tsp
White Pepper
1 tsp
Garlic Powder
1 tsp
Ground Cayenne Pepper
1/4 tsp
Ground Cloves
1/4 tsp
Ground Allspice
1/4 tsp
Ground Nutmeg
1/2 tsp
Ground Cumin
1 tsp
Ground Cinnamon
1 tsp
Chili Powder
2 Tbls
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
~ 1/2 cup

Brown the ground beef, breaking it up very fine and season with the salt. Do not drain.

Add all remaining ingredients and stir until cheese and chocolate are melted and well incorporated. Note: salt was already used in previous step.

Simmer on low, until the chili reduces to desired consistency. It should be thin, but not watery. - about 2 hours.

Remove the bay leaf. It is best to refrigerate overnight.
ポイント

This chili is great on Frito Chili Pie and coneys or straight up in a bowl with shredded cheese on top.
