Zurek starter
500ml
Mushroom stock soup
2litters
White sausage
400g
Smoked ham or sausage
200g
Smoked bacon
50g
Carrot
1pc
Potatoes
2-3pc
Dried marjoram and oregano
1/2tsp
Sour cream (パルテノ)
200ml
Salt and pepper
To taste
Hard boiled quail egg, horseradish sprout, parsley
For garnish

Potatoes and carrots cut into bite-size, add broth and cook until tender for 10-15 min.
Sausages cut into slices, smoked ham strips. Egg boil until done in salted water (about 1min quail or chicken 3min egg yolk liquid, 6 min egg yolk firm). Add sausages and ham into the soup.

Zakvas(starter) together with the flour and spices mix with sour cream, slowly add to soup bring to a boil. Season to taste(salt, pepper, and marjoram) and cook over low heat for 2-3 min.

Remove from heat and leave for 10-12min under the lid. When serving, sprinkle with fried smoked bacon, chopped parsley, piece of butter, boiled eggs to decorate and add a spoon on horseradish sprout.
