Steaned chicken in Lotus leaf!!! Hmmm really wanna smell the aroma,I do love lotus(leaf tea,fruit)! It isn't so easy to find the fresh lotus leaf in the market in japan. The chicken absorbed so various tastes (lotus,赤なつめ,しいたけ)must be absolutely delicious!!!Give me some🙏😋😋

Oh sorry,I hope you got over it already…😊 The 荷葉飯 I made was full of lotus leaf aroma which I love so much,because I steamed it in a steamer which allow the steam to come through from bottom.But with this,because there is juice that comes out from the marinade and chicken when steamed,and might leak
through the holes of the lotus leaf,therefore I had to use a plate rather than the steamer,meaning the steam could only comes from the top,and resulting just little leaf aroma. However,very lucky with the timing and the method,the chicken came out super silky tender.But still thinking about what ut
utensil I should use.By the way,I had a rice wrapped with lotus leaf once at a Korean restaurant in Tokyo,so you think you could get lotus leaf in Korean groceries stores!Ok now,head over to Mont Blanc!!
