Steamed chicken in lotus leaf
Really enjoyed my 荷葉飯 last time,so here is another lotus leaf dish.
What's else in it:red dates,cloud ear mushroom,shitake.赤なつめ,きくらげ,しいたけ。

Hmmm really wanna smell the aroma,I do love lotus(leaf tea,fruit)!
It isn't so easy to find the fresh lotus leaf in the market in japan.
The chicken absorbed so various tastes (lotus,赤なつめ,しいたけ)must be absolutely delicious!!!Give me some🙏😋😋

The 荷葉飯 I made was full of lotus leaf aroma which I love so much,because I steamed it in a steamer which allow the steam to come through from bottom.But with this,because there is juice that comes out from the marinade and chicken when steamed,and might leak

through the holes of the lotus leaf,therefore I had to use a plate rather than the steamer,meaning the steam could only comes from the top,and resulting just little leaf aroma. However,very lucky with the timing and the method,the chicken came out super silky tender.But still thinking about what ut

這個嘛,趁還買到新鮮荷葉時,再做一次荷葉料理。但買到的荷葉都不是完整無缺的,恐防有汁液出來所以放了一隻碟子在底下一起蒸,但這樣蒸汽不能像荷葉飯放在蒸籠,從下面滲進入荷葉內,所以香氣稍遜了。可幸的是這次時間剛的,又是用葉子包著的原固,雞肉超嫩滑的。我又剛想起曾在東京一間韓國餐廳吃過荷葉包著糯米的料理,說不定可在韓國食材的店子找到荷葉。材料齊全後,會教你做法的!
