Wash rice and soak in water for at least 20 minutes. set aside.

On a hot deep pan, sautee garlic onions with cumin turmeric powder. Add chicken and 2 tsbpn of greek yogurt. Add seasoning amd cover for 5 minutes til half cooked. Pour drained rice and stir. Add in a pinch of saffron diluted in half cup water. Stir till the rice change color. Add the rest of the water and cover. Cook about 20 to 25 minutes. Stir some other time.
Saffron rice is not only aromatic but it is also known as anti-oxidant and anti-cancer plus a source of other health benefits. I love it with greek yogurt and strawberry flavored yogurt for a side dish to balance the medium spice I added. enjoy!! 🍻💞😆😆
