remove the seeds from the dates, gingko n lotus seed. combine all the top 5 ingredients in a slow cooker and add in hot water. boil in high heat for 1 1/2 hours.

soak the white fungus in water for 15min then cut into small pieces. cook the quail in a pot n remove the shell. set aside both of them.

after boiling for 1 1/2hours, put in the white fungus and wait for another 20min

add in rock sugar to taste. turn off the heat. the amount depend on the sweetness you want.
