Venezuelan rice with calamari;)

Rice
2 cups
Poisson fume
2 cups
Squid
250g
Chopped onion
Medium 1 piece
Chopped tomatoes
1 cup
Chopped red pepper
1 cup
Chopped garlic
2 cloves
Chopped Parsley
A bunch
Tomato paste

Salt and pepper

Cut the calamari in small pieces, put aside. In a pan the olive oil, place the garlic and sauté for 2 min., add onion and cook for 4 min., then add the peppers, and tomatoes and cook for 3 min. Add salt and pepper. This is called sofrito. Add the squid to the sofrito and cook for 5min., stirring constantly. At this time add the tomato paste.

Wash rice and put in the rice cooker. Add the squid and the sofrito and the fish broth. Cook.
Add the parsley once the rice is cooked and stir. You can serve the rice and pour some olive oil over it.
