Mucenici🇷🇴 Sfințișori(little saints)🇷🇴

材料・調味料 (6 人分)
Soft flour
500-600g
Borscht
250ml
Dry yeast
1tsp
Sugar
3tbs
Salt
2tsp
Eggs
2-3pc
Veg oil or margarine
100ml or 100g
Walnuts, crashed
200g
Syrup
Water
200ml
Sugar or honey
200g
Vanilla extract or Rum
To taste few drops
作り方

Warm the borscht and add the dry yeast and sugar, mix them until the yeast will dissolve.

In a bowl, put the flour and add the borscht mix, 2eggs, salt, oil or margarine.

Mix them until it turns into a dough. And knead the dough for 1hour.

After 1hour kneading, put the dough into the oven at 37degrees for 1 hour until the size will become double.

Dividing the dough into medium balls and twist it like a braid. And making 8 shape.

After finishing, beat the egg and brush over the mucenici. Preheat the oven 160C.

Put them into the oven for 40-45min until they get golden brown.

Meantime baking the mucenici, preparing the syrup: boil the water and sugar 10min, after boiling put the vanilla or Rum.

When the mucenici are ready, soak the mucenici on both sides into the syrup and sparkle crashed walnuts on top of them.
