Put frozen Taro and Squid rings in to a pot. Add Dashi soup (or water) 400ml, Sake 100ml, Soy sauce 3tbs, Sugar 2tbs.

Once the broth in the pot starts boiling, put a sheet of aluminum foil to cover the top of ingredients. Reduce the heat a little and keep cooking for about 15 min until the taro gets tender enough so that you can put a wooden stick through.

Reduce the remaining broth by increasing the heat. (until 1cm high or so). Enjoy!
