Always love my meat with some kind of fruit,found this very interesting dish that uses pickled cherries in spices,vinegar and sugar.Have to try how they are.

I love cherries but I don't use it often for cooking,I find pickled cherries very interesting,so I bought some and tried this recipe,I wanted to see how it goes with the spices,I love them very much,works really well with the meat and cheese,basil too!This kind of dish is something I never get tired of.Thanks for the comment,you are very kind!
I am not surprise you like this dish too,I see many fruit and cheese combination in your cooking too,I am so glad we have similar taste!This is very French I guess,with a place that produces too many cherries that they have to pickle them.In HK,it's a little waste not eating the fruit when they are freshest,but I have to find out how they are when pickled in spices,have to say I love them a lot,and I could store them in the fridge and use them later.You know French food well,cherries and berries are usually paired with game,I used the leftover to make a duck salad too,I might post it next time!

Tho I don't know what kind of spices did you use, seems this sauce go well with various dishes. I'm sure it must be good with heavy liver terrine too. Oh! Sounds good for duck salad too😋👍✨✨
It was really the pickled cherries that drew my attention to this dish.Not like France,cherries are expensive here and it makes no sense not eating them straight,but I want to try how they are pickled in spiceeds.I used mustard seeds,bay,black pepper,cassia bark,the usual things...well,not bad,can't say they are superior,but good enough,also great for storing,so they are handy to go with other strong stuffs,pate and terrine are perfect now you mentioned,I regret I finished them for my duck salad...
Cheese fruit and meat is a classic combination,I never get tired of eating,just that I rarely use cherries in savoury dish,but this marinated cherry recipe is very interesting,I wanted to try how they are.Sweet and sour cherries really turned this into memorable dish for me,zucchini has a nice summer touch here too.Please try some time,thank you Hironobu,for checking my post!

It's really my preferred summer dinner,veggie and fruit,no carbs,but still get my guilty pleasures,meat and cheese!
