No worries, yours is a good progress. Yes, I'm still browsing the old posts. I wonder if you are in the creative & design industry from the way you describe certain things.

Have a great time travelling & be safe.

I am no professional chef,I just love food, and get a lot pleasure finding better ways making it,and because I have a day job,my main concern is to get meal on the table both quickly and good to eat!
I am lucky to say, after all these years I have accumulate some experiences and ideas that I could share around here.

I like it!
My favorite season which make cherry blossoms bloom is just around the corner.
Was this photo taken at japan? and by you?
rick, do you mind if I ask where do you live?
Thanks.
Good night, and have a nice weekend!!
Good morning,Lara!
That's great, you noticed I changed my header photo!
Glad you like it!I had this shot in Japanese awhile ago during Sakura season!I am not surprised this is you favorite season,it's really a special time with great meanings and it's absolutely beautiful everywhere!I love it too,I just wish it's less crowded so I could enjoy more peacefully, but I know that's hard to avoid!
I live in Hong Kong, the small island about 4.5 hrs away from Japan, but I come to Japan very often,it's hard for me to choose over Kyoto and Tokyo though,l love both for different reasons!
How about you, which part of Japan do you live?
Thank you for writing me,have a nice weekend too!

Hello,rick! How are you?
You live in Hong Kong! Hong Kong is one of the places that I'd like to go. I'm intrested in Hong Kong's culture. I imagin that Hong Kong is the place which is meeting and mixing culture with the West(Ingland) and Asia(China), and also modernity and tradition, too.
... If I'm mistaken, please allow me to say sorry to you.

I was born and raised in Tokyo! Tokyo is the only area that is I have lived in.
I'm ashamed to say that you must be knowledgeable about Japan than I am!🙈💦
Of course, I love here. But I'll move adjacent prefecture in late this month. Though I'm a little bit sad, I'm ok.
I'm busy now with preparations for moving. And furthermore I will be able to get the center of Tokyo in an houre from my new room by train.🚃💦💦

oh,by the way when I visit to Hong Kong, please teach me your recommendation and anything about Hong Kong!!
Thank you rick. Talk to you soon!
Hello Lara,I am fine,thanks!
Your description is correct,HK has a mixed culture, east and west, quite interesting to many people. If you visit here for the first time, you will find local food is delicious, there are nice spots to enjoy the view, but that's all,sadly...
I say that because you come from a great place,Japan. It really has the best in everything, and .I've been to a few places,I think I could confirm on that. But all the time I have been talking to my Japanese friends, they don't seem to know how good their country is(or too humble to admit),that's why I am telling you here!
So even you are away from the center, don't be sad,it still be convenient enough to go everywhere!I wish you could settle down quickly at your new home,I could imagine it's a nice quieter place!
By the way,I thought you have lived abroad, your English is excellent, how amazing you have only been in Japan all the time!
I love Japan, but HK is my home, and of course if you want to visit HK,I'll be more than happy to help you in any way!
Thank you for writing me!

I'm sorry for not replying sooner.
To be honest,I hesitated to reply to you,or not. Because the content of my talk and question had no relation to about cooking. I enjoying talk hear with you. But you are busy, right? I don't want bother you!
I was glad to your reply. I can imagin well now I'll be able to enjoying to stay at HongKong! I'm looking forward to coming to HongKong so much!!
One more thing! I think you paised my English, too much. But it made me feel happy:) Thank you! I continuing to study English. It's especially difficult to hearing English for me. Actually I need to work herder more and more!
As I'm interested in culture of various countries I really want to meet and know them and people.Such as, like met you.
I think trying to understand culture of another countries is understanding own culture more deeply.
Thank you! See you around!!
Good afternoon,Lara,I am fine,thanks!
Don't worry, although I have work,I make sure I have enough spare time for other activities, and it's most enjoyable if it's related to food. Please don't say you are bothering me,I am more than happy to chat about food, even other stuffs!
I meant it,your English is really good, you must have worked hard for it!From what I know, writing is one thing, hearing and pronouncing it right is also challenging,I am working hard on it too!
Makes me happy meeting interesting people,I am sure you are one,and one day we will meet, you could tell me everything about Japan!
Meanwhile let's keep in touch here!

Hello rick. Thanks for the lovely reply. You have a good idea! It will be fun if we can meet in future.
I try studying English(especially hearing and pronouncing) hard for that day! It's good encouragement for me.
I'm surprised and confused by my emotion these days. I didn't know that moving from my family and hometown makes me feel lonly.
I started living alone at my brother's atelier from at the beginning of last month. Since I often see my family and the familiar street, this room is close my parent's home. I can't belive that even though living alone is my strongly wish from when I was teen,I get such feeling now. I feel so hurt inside.
Ofcourse new my life is so exciting how I just can't wait to start it.
...I am just surprised my some feeling so much.
How about you? Have you ever living alone?
Did you get any feeling what is like you find part of yourself which you didn't notice untill then?
Thanks.
Hi Lara!
Thank you for sharing you feelings!
I am sorry to hear things don't turn out exactly you want, please stay positive,I am sure everything will get better in no time, once you get use to it,you will enjoy so much having a place of your own!
Seems like it's unavoidable that you feel a little lonely at first moving out, probably a stage everyone has to go through,I have no new advice for you, only please be patient, find yourself a hobby or two, make new friends through it(SD is good!),invite people over to your place and show them how good you are in cooking!
I live by myself most of my life,I never had any trouble,I keep myself busy(too much sometimes)with my hobbies,I love to be quiet,I enjoy my daily life very much,in peace!
That's just my nature,so it's easy for me.
Yes,of course I have had hidden feelings that I never noticed before, and probably more in future, but I have enough experience to tell, life will keep on surprising you,and one day you don't get surprised easily anymore....
I embrace everything in life, and I look forward to what I will encounter each day, hope you could do the same!
Happy Easter!
