蒜蓉蒸蟹糯米飯

Glutinous rice,topped with dried shiitake and shrimp sauce,then topped with crab,drizzle with garlic oil,wrap around with lotus leaf and steamed in a steam basket.
Served in many restaurants,but easy to achieve at home,even if you are in Japan!

Hi Makiko,so good you like this!Actually this is served all year round,especially in seafood restaurants,not a festive dish at all!
It's steamed,so naturally a steam basket is first choice,the lotus leaf place under the rice,and crab on top,wrapped around with the lotus leaf top of the crab.My favourite big is the rice of course,it gets the essence of crab and aroma of lotus leaf,this one is super tasty!Highly recommend you to try!
