Japanese curry tends to be sweeter(probably due to apples being used), and of course a lot less spicy. Indian curries tend to have more 'exotic' spices and usually spicier.
Ah, apples! ( Some use honey, coffee, chocolate, banana when they cook.)But mango chutney is used for Indian curry, isn't it? I prefer garlic-free Indian curry.😄
