Savory oatmeal - with fried white bait and furikake

Yes I was surprised too! I cooked the oats in dashi, so it's like the Cantonese kind of congee

Did you use Japanese dashi, which usually means the stock made from fish and seaweed?
Noritama ( nori & tamago (egg)) furikake is still the most popular one, here.

Yup I made the dashi from the dashi packs. And I used tamago and nori furikake 😋

I didn't know even Furikake is widespread in Singapore.
