Lemon Pound Cake

Plain flour
300g
Castor sugar
300g
Butter (soften)
165g
Eggs

Vegetable oil
45ml
Fresh milk
180ml
Lemon Juice
45ml
Vanilla essence
1 1/2 tsps
Baking powder
7g
Salt

Drizzle:
Confectionary sugar
120g
Lemon juice
10ml
Fresh milk
10ml
作り方

Diffuse the grated lemon into the castor sugar by rubbing gently.

Preheat oven at 160 degrees celcius foe 15 mins.

Add softened butter to the sugar and mix well until no sugar seen on the bowl.

Add oil and vanilla essence and mix well.

Add gradually one at a time and mix well.

Sift flour with baking powder and salt into the mixture and mix well.

Add milk and mix well.

Prepare and lined 10" x 4.5" baking pan with grease proof paper.

Pour mixture into the lined baking pan.

Bake in 160 degrees celcius oven for 50 mins.

Prepare drizzle by adding confectionary sugar, lemon juice and milk together. Mix well.

Cake must be cooled completely when drizzle sugar mixture at the top of the cake.
