Sour cabbage
1-1.5 head
Onion

Pepper
1tsp
Bay leaves

Vegeta
1tsp
Sweet paprika powder
1tbsp
Smoked bacon

Smoked Sausage

Finely chop onion and cut bacon in slices. Cut sausage in wider parts. If cabbage is too salty or sour, soak it in water to make it softer and/or reduce its sourness and saltiness. Take it out of the water and drain.

Cut cabbage in thin stripes or cubes. Put oil in a bigger pot and cook onion. When translucent add bacon and sausages. Place cabbage into the mixture, add paprika powder, Vegeta, bay leaves and pepper.

Cook around 15-20min on medium heat stirring occasionally. Add more oil or water if it sticks to the bottom. Preheat the oven to 200C.

Place the mixture in the baking dish and put aluminum foil on top (make few holes with a fork so the steam can go out) and bake for approximately 30-40min(near the end of baking take aluminum foil off so the surface get nice brownish colour).

Serve with bread or mashed potatoes. You can eat it warm or cold over next days.
