Chipotle Adobo Mixed Greens

材料・調味料 (3 人分)
Turnip greens
Large bunch
Collard greens
Large bunch
Mustard greens
Large bunch
Bacon fat
1Tbsp
Olive oil
2 Tbsp
Chipotle in adobo sauce
1/2 of 7 oz can
Salt
1/2 tsp
作り方

Rinse greens and remove tough stems and veins. Boil for 15 minutes in salted boiling water

Melt bacon fat in cast iron skillet. Add olive oil. Heat.

Drain greens and squeeze out excess water. Add to skillet. Stir to mix greens with oils.

Chop 1 or 2 chipotle chiles and add to greens. Pour 1/2 of adobo sauce onto greens. Add salt. Mix with greens and heat until warm.
ポイント

Can omit bacon fat if you are a herbivore
Can add crumbled bacon on top if you are an omnivore.

Many people in the south eat the pot liquor from cooking the greens with corn bread. You can drain some of the green juice and sop up what's left with corn bread, if that's the way you roll!
