Clean the fish, removing the heads and guts. Wash well and drain.

Sprinkle with salt, pepper and lemon juice and let rest for an hour.

Put the flour in a bowl, dip fish and put on platter. Put enough oil into a frying pan and preheat well, fry fish on both sides until golden brown.

Take them out with a slotted spoon, drain and put on a platter. Serve warm with notes of lemon slices if desired, removing the middle bone of the fish to be filleted.
