shortening (olive or canola oil)

Proof the yeast
Pour the yeast into the warm water, add a pinch of sugar and stir to dissolve the yeast completely. Wait for 3-5 mins until water is like creamy in texture.

ポイント

For First Rise - wait for one hour. always advisable to do "window pane" test to see if the dough has been kneaded well. Knead for 10 minutes

Knock and bulk dough after first rise

Final Rise - after shaping them, Let it stay inside the oven, under a pot of boiling water for 1 hour. Proof dough before baking.

Pre-heat oven at 170 Celsius for 15 mins.
Bake for 15 mins
