Pot roast pork with onion,wasabi butter sauce

ローストポーク オニオン添え、わさびバターソース
Very simple roast,sear the sides of the pork shoulder(豚肩),and put in the oven for 35-40 mins with the onions,no stock needed.

You are welcome!If you use heavy cast iron pot like mine,you won't need to add stock,but instead you get a lot of juice from meat at the end of cooking,so use the juice and add all ingredients of the sauce,reduce a little on the stove,and you will get a delicious sauce.Please enjoy!

Yes,like I said,so simple and quick,and most importantly satisfied my roast meat craving.Brown the pork,then add the veggie and garlic clove,piece of butter on the pork,put lid on,roast in 160° oven,after 30min,test doneness.rest meat a while when done,make sauce with wasabi,juice in the bottom of p
pot,soy sauce,sugar,sake,reduce a little,then add butter.I promise you will like this!
Staub is so good with this kind of cooking,the heavy lid traps all the heat and moisture inside.About the knob,it was a free gift when I bought a few pots last time,there were few shapes to pick,snail is one,but I
pick cock,because it represents the French.So you have the same shape of pot,how nice,let's show me what you make with it!

Please use any type of wasabi,I use the powder,I think it's quite good.The wasabi sauce is made after the pork is cooked,although I don't think it's important,I cook everything including wasabi too,only butter is added at last,when heat is turned off.

I think it's totally essential in a kitchen,I have other shapes,but I found myself using this a lot,it's especially good with pork like this and chicken too,meat cooked this way ends up very aromatic and juicy!I am always glad with your compliments,I appreciate it a lot!ThAnk you for resnap too!

Oh you did use another pot to make sauce,I thought the sauce look dark,so I thought you put soy sauce in it.That's good then,you have got it right!About wasabi,may be you Japanese can tell me what's best quality,apart from fresh.I just think the powder is better than tube!I have collected a few stau
