Wholewheat Spaghetti al pesto

Wholewheat spaghetti
200 g
Basil
2 cups
Garlic
2 cloves
Salt and pepper
Extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup
Parmesan cheese

In a food processor or blender, mix together basil garlic and olive oil. Process until smooth then and salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

Cook pasta in a boiling salted water to "al dente*". mix with pesto sauce, serve with parmesan cheese on top.
ポイント

"Al dente" is used to refer to food cooked so it is still "firm to bite" but not soft. The key is to cook a minute less than its cooking time.
