Apple pie

There are probably thousands versions of apple pie,and I will never get tired of making/eating them.I am going for a for rustic causal style this time,made up with sweet pastry,almond paste,tart apple purée and sweet apple slices on top.

The beautifully arranged cakes and tarts are good,but recently I start to appreciate the rustic type more,to me it's a different kind of beauty!I am so glad you agree!
The almond paste I am using is also called frangipane,it could be found in many tarts from Italy and France,I love it with my fruit tarts too!
