Punjabi Thari Wala Chicken (Chicken in curry sauce)

This is my take on a tasty punjabi chicken curry made with a tomato sauce that was made for me by an old friend some years back.

This is my ‘go to’ curry base that i use without the chicken and freeze for a midweek treat. It’s easy to make but will take a couple of tries to ensure you get the right consistency for your taste. There’s something about finding the ‘right’ spice mix that suits your palate, and this dish is perfect for me.

The great thing is you can adapt this dish to your own tastes and I do when my kids want a curry i use less chilli and add some yoghurt.
This is the perfect curry masala for your recipe books, it’s easy to make and made with love..  And tastes amazing to boot! 

It will keep for up to three months in the freezer and will taste just as good.
