sift flour and salt. add butter and mix well, untill a soft dough is formed. on a lightly floured surface roll out the dough. cut out shapes (must make equal number of cookie)
bake in a preheated oven 180°C for 30 min.

sift sugar in a bowl . add water and mix well when napoliatine are cooled spread jam on half and sandwich with the other half add any desired colour to the icing . pour over the cookie and leave until set. can be stored for up to 1week in an airtight container
