Couldn't get the smaller Japanese turnip this year,but thanks to my sushi chef friend,he got hold of some for me from his supplier,here is one that I made with them.
Got this idea from magazine,I think it's interesting too,and worked out very delicious. I love kabu for winter,I couldn't find small kabu this year,only big ones,luckily sushi chef friend got these for me from supplier! Topping is negi,used a slicer to cut and became curly,easy!Hard to find other Japanese herbs in HK....
