Waldorf salad with blue cheese

I remember I had this old fashion salad in a restaurant when I was a kid,it's been long forgotten,and just recently I thought of it again,come to think about,it's the combination of chicken,apple,celery and walnut,apart from the name,it's really nothing old fashion about it!
I had some Gorgonzola in the fridge,I thought they should mingle well....

The red leave is radicchio,some kind of lettuce from Italy,quite bitter when raw.
Meat fruit and cheese always work for us,I love cheese even from my childhood,but only start to appreciate blue cheese when I grow older.This is an amazing salad,it really shouldn't be forgotten,many things could be done to modernize it too!
