Chicken & Wedges

材料・調味料 (4 人分)
Chicken thighs/drumsticks
750g/1kg
Breadcrumbs
1/2 cups
Egg
1
Potatoes
3/4
Seasoning/spice of choice
5 tsp
olive oil

Add the egg into a bowl and whisk
Add the breadcrumbs to a separate bowl
Add 2 tsp of seasoning two the breadcrumbs and mix in.

Coat/dip each piece of chicken in egg and then roll evenly in the seasoned breadcrumbs.

repeat this procedure on each piece of chicken until they are well covered.

(2/3 times recommended)

place the chicken in an ovenproof dish & place in the oven for 45 minutes at 180c

(Oven time may need longer depending if you are using conventional of fan assisted, follow pack instructions for guidance)

Clean & chop the potatoes into wedges.

coat the wedges with a little olive oil (drizzle/spray)

place on and ovenproof tray and cook for around 30/35 minutes at 180/200c until golden brown.

(the wedges will need turning halfway through cooking)
ポイント

The seasoning you use could be asian/five spice
Chilli powder or flakes, Mexican or just salt & pepper.

You could also use a sticky sauce like barbecue or sweet & sour rather than the egg to stick the breadcrumbs.

The dip in the picture is sour cream and chive, this is optional and could be made from mayonnaise or store brought.
