I was looking at a book with Okinawa recipes,and so surprised to find out they have chicken rice too,I am a big fan of chicken rice,so I did a little and find out more.It's similar with Singaporean style,both served with pickle and soup.Okinawa's one uses papaya pickle,I think that's very interesting,so I made that as well.Also very special is the 陳皮 topping,I also see people use a たんかんpeel,but I did it with mandarin's.But the difference with Singaporean's is the rice,it's flavored with chicken stock and fat etc and it's so tasty,definitely the star of the dish.There is a Thai version chicken rice too,with different rice and dipping, I will make it soon and show you!
Still not familiar with this one,but found this in a cookbook,since I love all chicken rice,have to try this Japanese version.
