Slightly different to the French creme brûlée,this has orande and lemon zest,also cinnamon,which make this so special!Mine is little runny because there was no baking,yours s set better mine,but still nice and smooth,looks awesome! A burner is very useful,please get one,and brûlée everything,fish and meat too😁,and other tricks too,like blowing out air bubbles on the surface of chawanmushi!
Good evening Rick! I made this in half size of your recipi. I think orange and lemon are very important! Then, I've found some Crema catalana photo on WEB, always they are in a blown plate. The blown plate is standard for Crema catalana? OK, I'll take a burner as soon as I can!😁
Hi Makiko! The brown dishes are called cazuelas,very rustic and inexpensive utensil that Spanish (s.America too)use for many things,such as tapas,ajillo,they are best cooking on the stove or in oven.I am sure you could get them in Japan,may be online shop..

一旦クリームを蒸し焼きしたあと、冷めてから表面に砂糖を振って、再びオーブン高温で3分くらい焼いて雰囲気は出たんだけどね。カリッと感が足りない。やっぱりバーナーだねっ😁
チキンの表面を焼くにも便利だから欲しいな〜と前から思っていたんだった。よし買おう。
